My opinion about two websites :

Hard to catch main point.

A lot of images and texts ( information )

Be careful the font of text

Be careful colour and background ( ex : black and yellow )

Difficult for user reading on website.

Confusing - to much choice.

Too much animations

Too much advertising other websites ( when you click on information you needed)

Difficult to read and find information because used too much font and vivid image on each item.

My opinion about architecture website :

Easy to see layout and contact them

Modern can use for mobile phone

Using photography

Show the final piece ( example : sector, location and person ) - select portfolios

Show the background of company and team work ( only company)

Choose the same font of text ( specific information - main point in the website)

Simple colour

In my opinion, I compared Architect Template and Graphic Design Portfolio. I release Architect Temple suitable for company and architect because it will discuss and show all of information about building on Architect Template. However, Graphic Design Portfolio Template is suitable for researcher and student learning about design more than architect template because it just only discusses and shows the step of each item. Both of them are comfortable design a portfolio website for designer but I choose Graphic Design Portfolio Template because I'm a student so I will research more than work.

Reflective journal - Interior Design

In two week, I designed the interior with autodesk homestyler. I am interested this lesson more than design an advertising campaign and book cover. In my opinion, it is interesting because it has a relationship with my major which is architecture.

When I designed this I used my experience but I continued to research some interior design on the internet. I focus on a country house because this type of house needs a large space and good view. My target is younger family so I research some country houses in the UK and compare that with the house in Vietnam.

In my opinion, the interior in the Uk focuses on the light and storage solution. Moreover, the interior in Vietnam focuses on the ventilation. Therefore, they have some different decoration.

The Limitation in Autodesk Homstyler

When I designed the interior by this software which was difficult to change or control the wall and furniture. I could not delete the wall, if I do this, the wall will lose some line or does not connect when I change to 3D view. Moreover, moving furnitures are difficult in this software because they are auto to catch up the point in plan and the wall. The autodesk homestyler is a website design so that have more limited than other software such as Revit or 3ds max.

Research interior design

I have some research about interior on more websites such as Arch daily, Houzz.co.uk and interiordesign.net.

That is same an eco-house which has a beautiful view and comfortable for living.

From my point of view, if I want to design a good interior I need to design exterior too. The exterior and interior usually have a good relationship in architecture. It does not only depend on material or function but also it depends on theme and anything around or effect to the house. Therefore, I need to research and compare the architecture both of countries.
