Research - designers/artists use social media

On the top-right of image, they have the social media icons such as Houzz, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Flicker, Linkedin and Google plus. However, the link of Flicker does not work so that I think they need to put out it from social media menus.

When I clicked on the Houzz icon, I came to homepage design of design studio architects on houzz website. They have similar logo but they have a background on houzz website. On this website, they have 10 followers and no review. I suggestion they could improve the overall web presence by asking the client to leave review or testimonial. In my opinion, I think they need to show a process during their work and explain more details on each project. By including the review or testimonial on website the customer will be reassured in the quality of services and the works of the company. It will help company gain more new costumer which improve the profit and keep the relationship.

In my opinion, they have 8 websites for social media which can help them introduce their company and projects. It will help them keep the relationship between company and their costumer.

AR Design Studio:

I research another company design which is AR Design Studio in Winchester. On the top-right website, they have 7 icons of social media such as facebook, twitter, Pinterest, google plus, Youtube and instrgram.

Firstly, their facebook has a problem which does not work. I think they can delete it from menu social media and focus on significant social media. For example, if Pinterest or twitter has more follow than facebook, they can focus and improve Pinterest or Twitter.

However, when I came on their Twitter that does not work. In my opinion, I think that company just focus on design and do not have a time for design or post their project to social media. When I look their team in the company, I realised they have more designer.

From my experience, when a company is busy with their job or their clients know reputation, they do not need update the project on social media but they need update their own website.

Pinterest and Google Plus are two social media have more follower than others. In my opinion, I think two social media suitable to design company because it always uses image more than word.

Universal Design Studio:

This company just only have two social media which are Twitter and Instagram. However, they have a lot of follower and following and like in both social website. In my opinion, they spent more time to post and show their project. That can keep and enhance the relationship between them and costumers.

I realised I can have two or three social media in my website. The qualitative is more important than quantitative so that need to focus on social media interesting such as Pinterest and facebook.

 VTH Design Company in Vietnam:

I tried to research one website of architecture company in Vietnam. I observed they do not have social media. They show all of projects and activities on the own website. I think this is depend on culture or lack of knowledge in Vietnam because this is a big company.
