Final piece - advertising campaign

My aim of the advertising campaign is storage solution which will compare between small and large space. In the final project, I put the logo of architecture company which will help people contact this company. Moreover, the target of this project is family because everybody was bored and living who need a place. If the place does not large, they will live uncomfortably . However, my advertising does not distinguish poor or rich people. I want to support how to resolve or decorate the interior.

Firstly, when I created the advertising with a man face. I just focus on his glasses which mean he look at the different interiors and what his thinking. The idea is a message which helps everybody creates the new idea to change their interior and if they don not know how to change or decorate, they can contact that company.

Secondly, I chose the woman to create the advertising which means the man or woman need live in the comfortable space. The special woman usually is a housekeeper who must be done the housework. Therefore, they need a luxury interior for relaxing after housework or working.

Next, this is a baby who is drawing in a room. That is different style with man or woman advertising because I want to suggest the curious in a baby sense. They usually want to make the new thing because that help them learning. Therefore, advertising shows the child's painting which will create an effect on their parents. When their parent's look at some products they will have a new idea or think about new interior.

Finally, I try to put it on the billboard. In my opinion, I think the advertising will create interesting for anybody if it stays on the big building or city centre.

After my presentation about the advertising campaign, I have some feedback about my idea. I choose the glasses idea because if a person wants to learn or create a new thing, they must look at the information or see some things. Therefore, I design two different spaces inside the glasses which mean anybody look at their house and compare another house. They will want to change or decorate again their interior after. This project does not depend on poor or rich people which just focus on how to decorate the interior.

I designed an advertising campaign architecture with the man glasses in last week. This advertising shows the solution of space in his glasses which compare between two interiors such as normal and and luxury house.

Next, I create a new advertising campaign with woman image. That is similar idea man image such as compare two interiors in her glasses such as normal and luxury. In addition, the text has same which mean when customer look at this advertising campaign, they focus on her glasses and what they think in first look. Moreover, the text wants to ask customer who has comfortable with their house immediately and what you want to change.

My aim of this advertising campaign is storage solution for family so that I create an campaign with baby image. Baby is a seed in each family. If they have a good environment to grow up they will have a good future. The space for baby learning and living is improtant so that is a reason to make an advertising campaign with theme family.

However, I lost the logo architecture  which is important thing when give a message to business consume and contact them. Moreover, the background in all of advertisings is more colourful which need to less colour and make strong point interior.

After my research, I have an idea which is advertising how you get a better space in your life. I will compare two spaces such as slum and luxury. I use photoshop to design my project and use the google image to find some pictures suitable.

I sketch my idea by photoshop. I put it together, the main idea is the view of the man who look different space. On the left is small space such as slum and a person is lying in the bed. On the right is luxury space such as a villa and a man is relaxing in the bath. The aim of my project is the service architecture bring to person such as storage solution.

Reflective Journal - book cover

- My work in two weeks ago was design a book cover. In the class, I learnt how to design a book cover through examples and tutor analysed book cover needed. Moreover, researching information from website designer which help us what the purpose of the book cover.


- In the first week, I found information about architecture book and got an idea to development. Before I started I went to the city centre and took a picture. To forward, I used software to develop the idea such as CAD and photoshop. When I improve my idea I continue to research book cover from the internet and compare it with my product. Moreover, I went to some architect's website to find the slogan of famous architects and take it in my back book cover.


- In the second week, I continue to development and tried to print it. After I printed it I put it in another book  and I have a result.

It is suitable for a book.

In my opinion, I realise my product has some good point such as the design in front creates a strong architecture. However, when I try to cover a book that can not keep in the book if it doesn't have flaps. Therefore, when I cut it out, I create a flap which will keep the book.

Next, from my lesson, I think I learn a carefully when I design a project. I do not only focus on a size the book I need but also think about how it cover and keep on the book.

Finish book cover - 5/5/2016

Continue to book cover design, I measured all the size of book and put it into photoshop. I put the front of book cover on the right hand. After that, I designed back cover book and first thing I found a picture London perspective on the internet. I put it on right hand and fix it same size with front of book. Next I change the colour which was increased bright from bottom to top. I research the slogan of famous architect on the internet and put it on the top of back book cover. During this, I change the colour of image which was little blue. Next, I found a planning of resort on the internet and put it on the top of back book cover. I used same method to create it such as fix size, change colour, increase bright.

When I finished back book cover, I used my logo company to made a book logo in spine. Also, I used same font text to write " ARCHITECTURE" and rotating from horizontal to vertical. Next, I write author name on the top of spine and put the code in the back book cover.

Continue - Book cover - 4/5/2016

In 1st May, I went to High Cross and took a photograph. After that I put it in CAD and started to draw. I followed to the shape of building which create a sketch. However, first thing when I drew I try to draw 3 or 4 lines and found a main point in the middle image. From horizon point, I used it to draw the building. When I finished my sketch I copied it to another side and transform to file photoshop.

In photoshop software, I still kept original file and copied a new one. I put my image to book cover had text before and scale it to right size. After that I put my photograph together and erase on the right hand by marquee tools. Next, I increased the bright of left image that made clearly text on the book cover.

Follow to next step, I put human and cloud and tree in this image. Because human usually have a relationship with building, human will make this picture more realistic. Also, when I put human and tree into image that will show the size and scale between human and building.

In my opinion, if I want to improve my design skills, I must research some information from design website and try to compare the method. I think when I research and compare others skills on the internet, I will gain variety of method to design and find one thing suitble for myself.
